My Comfy Kits (Columbus location only)

As part of Alicia's Closet's Free Store services, we offer the "My Comfy Kits” program!

When children enter foster care, they are typically unable to bring their belongings. Many children arrive with very little, sometimes only the clothing on their backs. Those who do have belongings, often carry them in trash bags. Providing a brand new backpack or bag filled with age appropriate comfort & essential items, we can create a sense of comfort, normalcy, dignity, and a small sense of ownership, during a very difficult time.
