Seasonal Programs & Events (Columbus location only)

Our "Back to School Bash" takes place each August and is co-hosted by two of our partner organizations, Fostering Love and Stitched Together. This event is open to local foster, kinship & reunified families and includes food, face painting, inflatables, character visits and more! Each child (Kindergarten and up) also receives a backpack full of school supplies and gift card.

Each holiday season, we want to ensure that every child has a gift under the tree. Our annual Help for the Holidays program welcomes kinship families/relative caregivers, reunified families and former foster youth to submit a "wishlist" for holiday gifts. These gifts will then be purchased, wrapped and distributed! 

(*Note: Alicia’s Closet loves supporting foster parents, but we know that children’s services and foster care agencies offer gift assistance programs of their own. For that reason, this program is only for biological families who have reunified, former foster youth, and kinship families.)
